REPORT ON STAKEHOLDER’S MEETING AT VARIOUS LOCATION IN OMU-ARAN

On the 12th of July, the SDG 16 team with the Head of Security Engr. Egbunne visited several identified stakeholder members of the society, namely the Police, Civil Defense, and the FRSC.

A stakeholder meeting was held at different locations of the security agency to harmonize the needs of the community and the security agency. The ideas put forward were used as a yardstick for the Policy of engagement of stakeholders in the Omu-Aran community.

The community chiefs, market women, local authorities, and others will be carried along to forge a team that will be used to move the community forward.

The visit allows us to find out, how they operate and maintain peace and justice in the society. It was a fulfilling time and we had a very useful discussion. They all agreed to come for a meeting at a later time to finalize our discussions and also involve the community.

The Picture below shows the timeline of the events.
