It is with great sense of humility and excitement that I appreciate the Chancellor, Landmark University, Dr. David Oyedepo in approving the establishment of the Landmark University Centre for Research, Innovation and Discoveries (LUCRID) in the 2019/2020 Academic Session. I will also like to appreciate the University Management under the able leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Adeniyi Olayanju for counting me worthy to pioneer the affairs of this new Directorate. LUCRID is created with the aim of driving and coordinating cutting-edge research, university-industry research linkages, consulting services and strategic research and development (R&D) partnership with local, national, and multi-national organizations, in the pursuit of LMU’s vision and mission; coupled with the University’s SCOPUS drive for global relevance.
I am well assured that the existence of LUCRID would further make LMU a hub for innovation, creativity and technological product development.
