LANDMARK UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY-BASED FLOOD RISK MANAGEMENT

LANDMARK UNIVERSITY COMMUNITY-BASED FLOOD RISK MANAGEMENT

Landmark University Sustainable Development Goal 13 (Climate Action) implements a collaboration project “Improvement for Community-Based Flood Risk Management” with government authorities. The project aims to assist local and regional governments at home in building communities that can defend themselves from floods. Through community engagement, the project held training on crisis prevention and crisis awareness, built flood-prevention networks, and increased the community members’ ability to self-help and help each other during a crisis.
