AGENDA

1. Opening prayer
The meeting started with an opening prayer at about 2:24 p.m.
2. Coordinator’s opening remark
The coordinator then made his opening remarks, thanking the members for coming and for their
steadfastness, and asking for increased commitment.

3. Reading of Last Minutes and Matters Arising
The coordinator took the last-minutes reading, which began at 2:35 p.m. Following the reading of
the last minutes, it was suggested that some names be removed as members of SGD 13 because
those members were mostly no longer employees of Landmark University.
Also, Mr Ayojimi suggested that a soft copy of the last minutes be provided before any meeting
so that others can go through it before any meeting and make meaningful contributions based on
previous minutes. At 2:53, Dr. Okocha asked members to align with the school’s drive for hosting
webinars and other metrics that will make SDG 13 relevant. Based on this, Mr Ademola proposed
that we collaborate with Professor Evans Osabouhein and Dr Olayeni Patience of Regional Centers
of Excellence (RCE) Ogun and Covenant University on a webinar about climate change,

agriculture, and building. He was asked to contact RCE Ogun and provide feedback the next time
we met.
All members were asked to come up with potential topics for a webinar.
We also discussed the possibility of teaching climate action at secondary school clubs, using a
climate action book and log book obtained from RCE Ogun. Dr. Okocha said he knows someone
who can connect us with several schools in Omu-Aran.
4. Any Other Business
Publications on climate change issues should be forwarded to the coordinator so that they can be
publicized.
Members’ low turnout is discouraging, so we should endeavor to reach out to other members before
our meeting. This should not be left to the SDG 13 coordinator alone.
5. Closing remark /Adjournment / Closing prayer
Dr. Okocha gave a closing statement at 3:34 p.m.
Mr. Solaja made a motion for adjournment, which was seconded by Mr. Ayojimi.
