It is with great delight and honor filled with humility that I appreciate the Chancellor, Landmark University, Dr. David Oyedepo, and the University Management under the able leadership of the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Kolawole Ajanaku for counting meworthy of piloting the affairs of this Directorate at this point. Landmark University Centre for Research, Innovation, and Discovery (LUCRID) was created with the aim of driving and coordinating cutting-edge research, university-industry research linkages, consulting services, and strategic research and development (R&D) partnerships with local, national, and multi-national organizations, in the pursuit of LMU’s vision and mission; coupled with the University’s SCOPUS drive for global relevance.
I commend the efforts of the past directors namely Prof. Babatunde O. Adebesin, Dr Adeolu A. Adediran, and Prof. Oluwasogo Dada who have established a world-class template for the operations of LUCRID. I am well assured that LUCRID will command exploits that would further make LMU a hub for innovation, creativity, and technological product development.
