The Department of Food Science and Microbiology held their Webinar series on 24 August, 2021. Topic: Recent Innovation in Food Processing: Reducing Food Waste and Improving Food Safety.
∙ The Department of Physical Sciences successfully hosted Global Women Breakfast 2022 (GWB 2022) GWB 2022 with theme “Empowering Diversity in Science” with two guest speakers from South Africa and Nigeria respectively on Wednesday 16th February, 2022.
∙ The College received some Secondary School Students from Aperan Comprehensive College on February 16, 2022 to motivate the students to pick interest in the University degree and to also expose them to the University system.
∙ Food Science and Nutrition programme in collaboration with LUCRID hosted the 20th LUCRID webinar titled “Relevance of Food Science in Food Security, Health and Sustainable Waste” on 25th May, 2022. It was most impactful with outstanding two top researchers as facilitator from Singapore and India.
∙ Computer Science Department hosted Celo Foundation to train students of Landmark University on emerging Technology of Defi and Blockchain Technology on 27th May, 2022.
∙ The College held quiz competition amongst secondary schools in the neighbouring communities on science subjects on June 30th, 2022.
∙ The students’ College week event was held successfully on the 12th July, 2022. A presentation was made by Prof. O.S. Owa
