In celebration of the 2023 World Soil Day, titled “Soil and Water: A Source of Life,” which was held at the University’s International Exhibition Centre (IEC) on Wednesday, 5th December 2023, Some Secondary School students were invited to be sensitized to the theme of the World Soil Day. Faculty gave talks on the importance, conservation, preservation, and sustainable use of soil.
The program also includes an interactive section of questions and answers and a quiz segment with prizes given to outstanding students. Students also had the opportunity to familiarize themselves with exhibited items such as monolith, and soil color charts. Find below slides of the presentation.
