Landmark University in other to maintain the existing biodiversity of it ecosystem has since inception left some portion of her Land untouched and also forbid hunting, farming and any other human activities on those land. Picture of some of those lands are shown below.
More also Landmark University encourage the cultivation of crops of health and economic benefits going into extinction. For this reason the SGD 15 research team of Landmark University cultivated Solanum macrocarpon called ‘Gbagba’ in Yoruba dialect at the College of Agricultural Sciences Teaching and Research Farm of Landmark University. Some faculty members also planted it at the University Staff Quarters which is an attestation to stake holders participation in preserving endanger species. The leaves are edible and hence, consumed as vegetable as well as the fruit.
